Song Kun

Song Kun is one of the most promising female artists in China. She studied painting at Central Academy of Fine Art (CAFA) Oil Painting Department and graduated in 2006. She mainly works on painting, while incorporating music, video, installation and other media. By observing and capturing the different figures and fleeting moments in reality and hyper-reality world, she gathers up the fragments of our time. As a result, her works constitute a mythical, private space that reflects the potential changes in China.
