Takami Miyaoka

Born in 1980, Saitama, Miyaoka was raised by parents who are both potters. After graduate with Bachelor of Economics at Toyo University, he worked for a year and enrolled in Kyoto Prefecture Ceramics. In the beginning of his career, he produced ceramics wares. And he stared to make his own artwork by creating ceramic idols and abstract sculptures. The main theme of his work is “Natural Harmony”; therefore, his works are born from the fusion of diverse eras and settings.
